• Pre-reading teacher information, to explain the purpose of the text and the targeted text features

• An illustrated fiction or nonfiction text with text feature reminders and discussion questions per page, to help focus the lesson and reinforce new information

• Post-reading activities that include oral comprehension questions and a related group or whole class activity

Our Big Books are designed to help teachers build key genre-related vocabulary and teach young children about key language and literacy concepts.
