A set of Phonics Cards per grade, that illustrate the phonemes and consonant blends taught or revised per term.

Every card includes:

• A clear label, indicating the grade, language, language level and term

• The grapheme written in clear print

• A word that includes the targeted grapheme

• A picture to illustrate the word

These cards are used to introduce sounds during Phonics lessons. They may also be used as part of classroom displays to reinforce the phonics of the language. The targeted grapheme is written in bold and is illustrated with a word and picture to provide learners with a visual ‘hook’ for the sound.
