Home | Home Language
The Lighthouse Home Language resources are designed to support teachers to explicitly and systematically teach the technical skills of coding and encoding – reading and writing. In addition, children learn new vocabulary and general knowledge through listening to and discussing a wide range of stories. Our approach to language learning covers both sides of literacy learning – decoding and language comprehension.
Available Languages: Afrikaans, English, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, isiXhosa, isiZulu
